God challenges a father to deal honestly with others
By T. S. Candee on November 9, 2020 in God's Gift for Fathers
Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, Than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.
When you are honest with others, the Lord honors you. Never be afraid to speak openly about your faith to your children and to everyone you meet, even casual acquaintances or strangers on the street. When you choose to be honest with others about what you believe, your character and reputation will grow. As a father, you are a role model for your children. They look up to you and depend on what you say and how other adults perceive you. Let your light shine so that others may see Christ in you.
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off xthe old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
