God challenges a father to grow in his Christian walk
By T. S. Candee on November 5, 2020 in God's Gift for Fathers
The psalmist wrote,
Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; And I shall keep it unto the end.
Left to ourselves, we often don’t know which path leads us to life and which path leads us to death. When we don’t seek God, we remain in the dark. But God’s Word provides us with a searchlight to cut through the darkness and leads us to safety. So spend time in the Word of God and learn how to be the Christians God wants you to be. Get involved in a church and fellowship with other believers. When you desire to grow in Christ, He will provide a way for you to serve Him and be blessed.
Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name. I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: And I will glorify thy name for evermore.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, And a light unto my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, That I will keep thy righteous judgments. I am afflicted very much: Quicken me, O LORD, according unto thy word. Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, And teach me thy judgments. My soul is continually in my hand: Yet do I not forget thy law.
