God gives a father strength when he is angry and needs peace

We all get angry sometimes, and anger is a valid emotion. But controlling your words and actions when your emotions run hot is essential for every father. The Bible reminds you that “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty” (Proverbs 16:32). Whether you realize it or not, your children are watching you, and how you conduct yourself when you’re upset will influence how they learn to deal with anger. So when you encounter a tough situation, try to think twice before you react in anger. God’s peace comes when you take your anger to Him and leave it there. Don’t forget: little eyes are always watching and taking their cues from you, their father.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; And he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice
