Being Sure

Faith determines our relationship with God – how we deal with Him and how we see Him as the Savior. Faith grabs hold of the truth in God’s Word and is energized and inspired by His holy fire. God is the great objective of faith, for faith rests its whole weight on His Word. Faith is not an aimless act of the soul, but a looking to God and trusting in His promises. Faith is not believing just anything. It is believing God, resting in Him and trusting His Word.
