God gives a father strength when his family grows apart
By T. S. Candee on January 16, 2025 in God's Gift for Fathers
Creating a dynamic of peace among your family members is essential to family unity and preventing your loved ones from growing apart. There are two keys to keeping the family together. One is forgiveness. Whenever you fight with a family member, don’t go to bed angry; be the first to seek forgiveness and heal the wound that was created. The second key is love. When you make a habit of showing love and affection to the members of your family, your actions will cover many wrongs. Be slow to anger and quick to tell your family how much they mean to you. Develop the attitude that growing apart is never an option.
God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out those which are bound with chains: But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
A wrathful man stirreth up strife: But he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath… Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
