God gives a father strength when he comforts his loved ones
By T. S. Candee on May 22, 2022 in God's Gift for Fathers
In times of trouble, God promises to be with you. He is always there to listen; He comforts you amid your difficulties and gives you the peace that passes all understanding. The Lord is your example for helping your children when they are hurting. When you reach out in love and comfort your children, you are doing God’s will for the ones He has given you to raise. The love that you give to your children will last for a lifetime, and it is worth more than anything you might purchase for them. When you show love to your children, you draw them closer to you and provide an opportunity to share the love of Christ.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
