God rejoices when he dedicates his children to the Lord

Dedicating your children to God is a big step for any father. Because when you pledge to become your child’s faith guide, you take the responsibility for nurturing and providing guidance in his or her Christian life. Consistency will help your child develop his or her faith in a steady way. Seek the Lord daily in prayer, asking that you will be an example of Christian character that will cause your child to want to walk with the Lord. Remember to tell your children that our Father God acts for our benefit in ways that we cannot always understand. He molds us and shapes us in ways that sometimes hurt, but He always deals with us in love.
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, And floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, And my blessing upon thine offspring
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; We are the clay, and thou our potter; And we all are the work of thy hand.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; And the years of thy life shall be many. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
