God rejoices when his family anticipates the Lord’s return
By T. S. Candee on May 5, 2022 in God's Gift for Fathers
Living with anticipation completely changes your view of the present; the least important things are stripped away, while you become laser-focused on what you deem most important. And when you live as if the Lord is coming back at any moment, your anticipation will help grow a deep, personal relationship with the Lord.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
You have an open invitation to enjoy a close relationship with the Lord, so talk to your family often about what the return of Jesus means for you today.
The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord More than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
