God comforts a father when his loved ones are ill

Being sensitive to the needs of your children is part of what it means to be a good father, particularly if your child is ill and in need of healing. Whether you are facing a stomach ache or something worse, having a sick child can be a frightening time for any parent because so much of your child‘s healing is out of your control. When you feel anxious, the Word of God urges you to take your concerns to the Lord in prayer to receive healing, comfort, and strength.
The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: Thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
When you take the illness of your child to the Lord in prayer, He will listen and come to your aid.
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
