God asks a father to love his neighbors

In Galatians 5:14, Paul reminds Christians of one of their most important tasks: “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Your neighbor is not confined to the person living next door; everyone is your neighbor. And how you treat your neighbor is a reflection of what kind of relationship you have with the Lord. Think about how you act when you love someone: you are kind and caring, showing them goodness, gentleness, and faithfulness. You may disagree with someone you love, but you don’t let the disagreement color your behavior toward them—you love them anyway. So let your light shine, showing your neighbors that same love. When you do, they will see Jesus in you.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
These are the things that ye shall do: Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against your neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD.
And he said unto him, If thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments… Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
